PlatHub is a free tool for PlayStation trophy hunters, run by an individual rather than a company. This page explains exactly what happens to data when you use the site: what is processed, what is stored in your own browser, and which third parties are involved. There is no account system, and you are never asked for a password.

What PlatHub processes

When you enter a PSN ID, that ID is sent to the PlatHub server, which requests the public trophy data associated with it from PlayStation Network and streams the result back to your browser. The detailed trophy data behind a mosaic, tier list, recap or backlog is processed in memory to answer your request and is not written to a database or stored on the server afterwards. Nothing is fetched that a public PlayStation profile does not already share, and profiles with trophies set to private cannot be read at all.

The public leaderboard

There is one exception to the above, and it is deliberate. Any PSN ID looked up on this site is added to the public leaderboard, together with a summary of that profile: the online ID, the avatar image address, the trophy level, the number of bronze, silver, gold and platinum trophies, and the times the entry was first recorded and last refreshed. That summary is kept on the server and is shown publicly to everyone who visits the leaderboard.

Every field of it is information a public PlayStation profile already shares with anyone who looks at it, and nothing private is stored: your IP address is never saved alongside a leaderboard entry, and there is no record of who looked a profile up. The leaderboard is not a members list — PlatHub has no accounts — so an entry means only that the profile has been checked here at some point.

If you would rather not be listed, you can remove yourself without contacting anyone. Put noplathub anywhere in your PSN About me, then enter your PSN ID on the mosaic page to look up your profile. Your entry is deleted and your PSN ID is recorded as opted out, so it is not added again if somebody else looks it up later. Putting yesplathub there instead and looking up your profile again reverses it.

The instruction is read from your PSN profile rather than taken from whoever is at the keyboard, because that is the only part of this data you alone can write to — it means nobody else can remove you, and nobody else can put you back. The opt-out list holds only the PSN IDs themselves. If you cannot edit your bio, email contact@psnplathub.com and it will be done by hand.

Requests to the trophy endpoints are rate limited to keep the service available and to avoid overloading PlayStation's API. To do that, the server briefly keeps your IP address in memory together with a request count. These entries expire automatically after a few minutes, are never written to disk, and are not used to identify or profile you.

What is stored in your browser

PlatHub uses your browser's local storage to remember your own preferences between visits. This includes the last PSN ID you entered, your mosaic and tier list customization settings, and your light or dark theme choice. This information stays on your device, is never transmitted to the PlatHub server, and can be removed at any time by clearing site data for psnplathub.com in your browser settings.

Advertising

Where advertising is displayed on PlatHub, it is served by Google AdSense. Advertising is what keeps the site free to use.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before any non-essential cookies are set, through Google's certified consent management platform. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time using the privacy options link presented by that message.

Other third-party services

Feedback and feature requests come in by email or social media rather than through anything embedded in the page, so nothing here collects them and no third party sees them.

Game artwork and trophy icons are loaded from PlayStation's own image servers, and web fonts are served from Google Fonts. Requests to those services expose your IP address to them in the ordinary way that loading any image or font does.

Children's privacy

PlatHub is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly process their personal information.

Your choices

No account exists, so there is nothing to log into, export or close. The one thing held on the server is the leaderboard entry described above, and you can remove it yourself at any time with the noplathub keyword described in that section. You can clear everything PlatHub has put on your device by clearing site data in your browser, and you can control advertising cookies through the links above. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the site changes, for example if a new third-party service is added. The date at the top of the page always reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
