No sign-in and no PlayStation account linking. The PSN ID only needs to have trophies set to public.
A profile is a single page that sums up a trophy collection: PlatHub Points, platinum count, badges, milestones and the rarest platinums earned. Rather than sending someone to five different tools, you send them one link.
That link is psnplathub.com/u/ followed by a PSN ID, so it works in a bio, a forum signature or a comment and stays up to date on its own. No sign-in and nothing to set up — any PSN ID with trophies set to public already has one.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to sign in or claim my profile?
No. There are no accounts on PlatHub at all. Any PSN ID with trophies set to public already has a profile page at /u/ plus that ID, and it is built from public PlayStation data.
Why is a profile blank or missing platinums?
Trophies have to be set to public on the PlayStation account, and they have to be synced from the console. An account with trophies hidden cannot be read by anyone, including PlatHub.
How current is a profile?
A profile reflects the last time the collection was read, and readings are reused for about an hour. So a platinum earned in the last hour may not appear yet; it turns up on its own once that hour is out.
Can I get my profile removed?
Yes. Put the keyword noplathub in your PSN About me and the profile stops being published, the same opt-out the leaderboard uses. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
What are the badges on a profile?
Badges are PlatHub's own, not PlayStation's. Most are earned from the collection itself — passing a PlatHub Points total, earning a run of platinums from one series, finishing the Alphabet Challenge. Others are proof the profile is yours, or are granted for backing the site. They are shown newest first with the day each was earned, and hovering one explains how it is come by.
Can a badge be taken away?
No. A badge is kept once it has been given, even if the same collection would no longer qualify. A sequel shipping later does not undo the afternoon somebody finished a series, and rarity drifting does not undo a total they reached.
Do badges affect the leaderboard?
On the PlatHub Points ranking, yes — each badge adds points on top of what the platinums are worth, and the PlatHub Points page lists what each one adds. The Pure Points ranking and every seasonal board leave badges out entirely and rank on platinums alone.
